[www.inewsguyana.com] – Defending School National champions, North Georgetown/ District 11 will continue their evaluating process on Tuesday, October 7 when they host their Inter School Championships for Secondary Schools at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary.
Some of Guyana’s top athletes from Georgetown will be aiming to make the team in hopes of giving the district its best chance of winning while looking for personal and national glory.
The likes of Jevina Sampson, the Daniel twins, Natricia Hooper and Ruth Samagon will take the field to showcase their ability.
While the competition is expected to be high, the lack of talent will be a major concern for the defending champs.
Nevertheless, with all logistics set, a week of intense track and field in Guyana’s most successful district is expected.
