The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce has revealed that there has been no increase in minibus fares and any increase in unauthorised.
The Ministry issued a notice, stating that “The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce wishes to advise that there is no minibus fare increase. Any document in circulation which suggests an increase is unauthorised and must be ignored.”
Minibus operators and passengers are asked to take note of this issue and to act accordingly, and the public to continue paying their regular fares as the ministry has not sanctioned an increase.
