Police ranks, acting on information received at about 20:45 last night, went to an abandoned lot at Rose Hall, Corentyne, where they arrested escaped prisoner Neshan Jagmohan. He has been returned to the New Amsterdam Prison.
Neshan Jagmohan, who is a prisoner on remand on a charge of murder, had escaped from the New Amsterdam Prison on December 28, 2015.
Neshan of Belvedere Squatting Area, Corentyne, Berbice was a remand prisoner and was charged with the murder of Devindra Deodath which occurred on October 07, 2013.
