A security guard attached the MMC Security Service, was early this morning, shot dead by his colleague at the company’s head office located at Happy Acres, East Coast Demerara.
Dead is 36-year-old Vibert Verwayne of lot 710 Block 8, Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
Reports indicate that the two colleagues were involved in an argument which subsequently led to the shooting.
Verwyane was shot to his neck and pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Investigations continue into the incident.
