According to the police, a resident of Mongripper Hill, Bartica, Region 7, was yesterday afternoon arrested and taken into custody for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.Police acting on information went to Honey Camp Backdam, Middle Mazaruni about 17:00hrs and conducted a search on the thirty-four year old miner and found an unlicenced .32 pistol with two (2) live matching rounds.
He is being processed for Court
