Twenty – eight – year old George Duncan of 22 King Street Meadow Bank Georgetown appeared before Magistrate Ann Mc Lenna charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Duncan pleaded not guilty to the offence. It was alleged that on August 16 at Meadow Bank, he had 30 grams of cannabis on his possession for the purpose of trafficking. The Magistrate refused bail and the matter stands adjourned until September 16. [Royan Abrams]
