[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police have successfully cracked the case of a multimillion dollar robbery committed on The El Dorado Gold Trading Company, which occurred on Friday night (November 8) in Port Kaituma, Region One.
iNews was reliably informed that the police have arrested seven persons for the robbery, two of whom are employees of the Gold Company. According to information received, one of the employees arrested was the mastermind behind the robbery.
This news agency was informed that the Gold Company was robbed of over $50 Million in cash and 90 ounces of gold. However, following swift action by the police, the cash and gold were recovered, when the men were arrested.
Reports indicate that the men tied up two employees in the office in Port Kaituma and executed the robbery. The alleged robbers are expected to be charged shortly.
