Police are now investigating the brutal murder of a young man, Paul Rodney, who was gunned down during the wee hours of this morning in Georgetown.
The family of Rodney of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, were too traumatized to relay much of what transpired leading up to the young man’s death but Inews understands at at approximately 02:45hrs today, Rodney’s body was riddled with bullets by two men on a motorcycle.
The incident reportedly occurred at Avocado Square, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
After being shot multiple time, Rodney fell unconscious on the road, and was discovered by police who heard the gun shots and responded promptly.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
No one has been apprehended at this point in time.
