Mango Landing businessman died from multiple gunshot wounds

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Post Mortem Examination (PME) performed on the body of 50 – year – old Businessman, Linden Mc Almont of Annandale, East Coast Demerara found that he died from several gunshot wounds to his chest, head and abdomen.

The businessman and his wife, Maureen Mc Almont were attacked by three gunmen on Monday, December 08 at their business place at Mango Landing, Essequibo River.

The men also robbed Mrs Mc Almont of a pair of gold earrings, her wedding band and bracelet before locking her in a storeroom while her husband was placed in their bedroom and shot to death.

Relatives told iNews that he was killed just two days prior to celebrating his third wedding anniversary. The Mc Almonts have been operating the interior business for approximately seven years, according to relatives.
