Man stabbed to death by ‘friend’ during drinking spree

A drinking spree involving two friends at Timehri, East Bank Demerara turned deadly on Sunday evening after one stabbed the other following an argument.
Dead is Kawall Persaud, 54, of Lot 17 Timehri.
According to reports, the men were heard arguing at a popular drinking spot and as neighbours looked out, they saw the suspect, Lakeram Shankar, 21, a security guard, stabbing the now dead man. Persaud reportedly received a stab wound to his abdomen resulting in him collapsing to the ground. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

  1. RUM jumby life style,that’s all these drunks good for. The wives have to suffer and endure blows and even murder from these drunks, they should ban these fools from RUM,the law should permit these people to drink MILK only,not the kind of milk they take when the wife take someone else,sorry cows milk,,start hanging again,,
