[www.inewsguyana.com] – Dunston Simpson of No. 53 Village, Corentyne is now a patient at the New Amsterdam Hospital nursing a gunshot wound to his chest.
Simpson was reportedly involved in an altercation with a licensed firearm holder at Main Street, New Amsterdam on Tuesday evening.
Police have since confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and the firearm seized as the investigations continue.
