Man left lying along Homestretch Ave. later discovered dead

[www.inewsguyana.com] – An elderly man who persons recall seeing resting on the side of the road along Homestretch Avenue, yesterday afternoon was this morning discovered dead.

The man’s lifeless body was seen by a passerby who upon inspection confirmed the gruesome reality. The dead man is yet to be identified.

Police arrived on scene shortly after the discovery and carried out initial investigation after which the body was taken to the Lyken Funeral Home just after 8:00 hours.

The man appeared to be of mixed race and could be in his late 60’s early 70’s.
