The body of a male was discovered today on an access dam in Black Bush Polder, Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne).
The dead man has since been identified as Tameshwar Mangru called “Brian”.
Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner Shivpersaud Bacchus, confirmed the discovery but gave no other details apart from saying that Mangru’s head was smashed.
He said an investigation is ongoing.
