The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Tedd De-Young, who was involved in an altercation with a male juvenile on June 12, 2016 at Lake Capoey Mission, Essequibo Coast.
According to reports, De-Young was stabbed about his body and was admitted to Suddie Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries earlier today.
Meanwhile, the suspect was charged with attempted murder and remanded to the Juvenile Holding Centre, Sophia.
Police say further investigations are continuing into the matter.
