Investigations are being conducted into the murder of Bhagwattie Etwaroo, 50 years, of Rosehall Town, Corentyne, which occurred about 17:30hrs yesterday Monday May 09, 2016, at her home.
Investigations so far have revealed that Bhagwattie Etwaroo and her reputed husband were imbibing when an argument ensued between them during which she was chopped about her body.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port Mourant Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
