A 57-year-old man who resides along the Essequibo Coast was on Monday arrested after he was caught having sex with a cow.
The discovery was made by cattle farmers in the area and the matter was reported to the Police.
The suspect told investigators that his doctor advised him to engage in sexual intercourse with animals to cure his illness.
The man is reportedly diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Investigations are ongoing.
