The Guyana Police Force reported that, at about 17:55hrs yesterday, ranks at a roadblock at No. 59 Village Public Road on the Corentyne coast, conducted a search on a motor vehicle during which seven (7) kilograms of cannabis sativa (marijuana) were found.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
