Lindener gets 5 years jail for possession of unlicenced firearm, ammo

Kellon Mc Leod, 29, a miner of Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden who was found in possession of an illegal .38 revolver and seven matching rounds on Wednesday morning in Mackenzie was placed in police custody and processed for Court on Thursday.

According to the Police, Mc Leod appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Wales Magistrate’s Court and pleaded guilty to the unlawful act of possessing a firearm and ammunition without being licenced to do so. 

He was sentenced to five years in prison on each charge which will run concurrently.
