Linden men wanted for murder of taxi driver

Update: Police have since arrested Seon Johnson

Police have issued wanted bulletins for two men in connection with the murder of Ron Clarke, a 30-year-old taxi driver whose bullet-riddled body was found in a drain at Victory Valley, Linden, Region Ten on Thursday last.

Wanted are Seon Johnson, 20, of Well Road, South Amelia’s Ward, Linden, and Travis Brewster, 20, of Blueberry Hill, Linden.

The body of Clarke, of William Street, Kitty, and Wisroc Housing Scheme, was discovered by a 19-year-old construction worker who immediately raised an alarm.

Clarke was transported by a passing vehicle to the Linden Hospital Complex, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Medical staff observed 14 gunshot wounds on Clarke’s body: five to the right arm, two to the groin, one to the hip, and six to the right thigh. A warhead was also recovered from his underwear.

Investigators also recovered ten 9mm spent shells at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
