Linden man accused of threatening wife granted bail

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 47 – year – old Linden resident was today charged for using threatening language towards his common-law wife.

Keith Jilks, a vendor of Blueberry Hill pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Fabayo Azore. It is alleged that on October 22, at Blueberry Hills Wismar Linden, he used threatening language to Barona Caesar thereby a breach of the peace.

Speaking on his own behalf, the defendant told the court that this is a minor problem. The prosecution made no objections to his liberty and bail was granted in the sum of $15,000. He was also bonded to keep the peace and is scheduled to return to Court on October 24.
