[www.inewsguyana.com] – Traffic flowed again on Monday, June 15, on the Liliendaal Bridge following a weeklong closure to carry out extensive works to fortify the structure. The bridge reopened around 17:00 h.
Repairs to the bridge’s structure were executed by Demerara Harbour Bridge (DHB), while its surfacing was done by the Ministry of Public Infrastructure’s Force Account Unit (FAU). An estimated cost of the project is GY $12M.
