Lack of equipment prevents City Council from cleaning drains

0

City Mayor Hamilton Green has noted that the council does not have all the equipment needed to clean drains. He made this disclosure this morning during a media conference.

Green reiterated that one of the major issues affecting the council is flooding.

He told reporters that the Council is unable to effectively clean the drains since they do not possess the necessary equipment to do so.

Green explained that when the drains are clean, they are unable to dispose of the mud since the Council does not possess trucks.

Aditionally, Green is also calling for styrofoam to be banned since they clog the drains. According to him, styrofoam is interfering with the work the Council is supposed to do. [Akash Ramlackhan]
