The Jamaica Kingsmen have today announced their seven-man overseas contingent ahead of the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL), bringing together a blend of established Pakistan international talent and rising stars from the subcontinent’s domestic and franchise circuits.

The Kingsmen’s overseas plans for the 2026 campaign have been carefully structured around player availability. Hassan Khan and Hunain Shah are fully available for the entire tournament and will be with the squad from day one, giving the side a settled all-rounder and a strike bowling option throughout the campaign.
Shayan Jahangir and Tayyab Arif will also link up with the team at the start of the season, filling out the overseas roster during the opening phase.
From 19 August, the Kingsmen’s overseas group will transition into its second phase, with Saim Ayub, Maaz Sadaqat, and Usman Khan joining the squad. At that point, they will move into the places held by Shayan Jahangir and Tayyab Arif, giving the franchise fresh firepower for the back end of the tournament.
Maaz Sadaqat is a left-handed batting all-rounder who has emerged as one of Pakistan’s most exciting young white-ball talents. An explosive top-order batter who also offers useful left-arm orthodox spin, he has represented Pakistan at ODI level and impressed on the domestic and franchise circuit, including a standout run at the 2025 Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament.
Saim Ayub is a Pakistan international recognised as one of the most destructive left-handed batters in white-ball cricket today. An opener known for his aggressive stroke play and improvisational skills, he has become a key figure for Pakistan across formats and adds valuable off-break bowling to the Kingsmen’s attack.
Usman Khan brings a formidable record as a right-handed wicketkeeper-batter, having established himself as one of the most feared strikers of the ball in franchise cricket worldwide. A Pakistan international, his ability to change games in a matter of overs makes him a dangerous middle-order addition.
Hassan Khan is a versatile right-handed all-rounder whose slow left-arm orthodox bowling and lower-middle order hitting have made him a valuable presence across franchise leagues internationally. His experience across multiple T20 competitions adds depth and balance to the squad.
Hunain Shah is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who has built a reputation for composure under pressure in franchise cricket. Part of a well-known cricketing family, he offers control and firepower with the new ball and at the death.
Shayan Jahangir is a right-handed wicketkeeper-batter who represents the United States national team. A dependable gloveman with a strong record across franchise competitions, he brings international experience and reliability behind the stumps during the opening phase of the campaign.
Tayyab Arif is a right-handed batter with a strong domestic pedigree in Pakistan, having progressed through the national Under-19 pathway. He joins the Kingsmen looking to make his mark on the franchise stage during the tournament’s early phase.
With this overseas group complementing a core of West Indian talent, the Jamaica Kingsmen head into the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League with a squad built for both immediate impact and sustained depth across the tournament.
