[www.inewsguyana.com] – The teacher who is accused of having sex with his 14 – year – old student in exchange for extra lessons at a private school is still of interest to the police.
iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) was informed by a source close to the investigation that the file involving the matter has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.
According to information reaching this online news site (www.inewsguyana,com) , the teacher who was previously held by the police has been released and has to report to the police station as the matter continues to be probed by the police and the Child Care and Protection Agency.
In February, the female student who is also a British citizen revealed that she had unprotected sex with the teacher, after which he allegedly gave her the ‘morning after’ pill to drink.
The teacher is expected to be charged soon.
