Hydromet Office issues flood advisories for Regions 1 & 2

As deep convective clouds continue to produce moderate to heavy and continuous showers and rain over regions 1 and 2. A

Flood advisory has been issued for these regions.

The present condition is expected to continue throughout the morning, and if not already being observed, will further exacerbate flooding in areas with poor drainage.

In areas where thundershowers are being observed, heavy winds and lightning strikes may also be observed. Visibility will likely be less than 3km.

The National Weather Watch Center will continue to closely monitor this event and will issue bulletins as the need arises.
