=_@_--@_--MiSs AMERICAN@_--@_--=_[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ranks of the Guyana Police Force and the Georgetown Prison are still hunting for an object or item tossed over the prison wall by a member of the public.

iNews understands that the person (s), who tossed the object over the Camp Street prison wall was able to elude the security guards of the exterior of the prison facility.

The search by the lawmen apparently angered the inmates of the south-eastern building of the prison compound forcing them to set fires inside of the prison.

Whatever the inmates used to light the fires were displayed through the windows and the fiery objects were also tossed out the window but were quickly extinguished by the Guyana Fire Service.

The fire also saw a heavy presence of the police and army at the location.
