GUYOIL Aviation Services Inc. (GASI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Guyana Oil Company Limited (GUYOIL), has secured a contract to supply aviation fuel to newly launched KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. This partnership is expected to bolster GASI’s position in the regional aviation fuel market.

GASI, established in 2015, operates from the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) and focuses on the importation, marketing and distribution of Jet-A1-Fuel. GASI proudly holds the International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification, underscoring its commitment to meeting international standards and best practices.

Over the years, GASI has been instrumental in supplying fuel to various local and international carriers. The collaboration with KLM underscores GASI’s commitment to supporting Guyana’s expanding aviation landscape.

GUYOIL’s General Manager, Ms. Molly Hassan, is enthused about the partnership. According to Ms. Hassan after fruitful talks and negotiations, this agreement signifies GUYOIL’S dedication to excellence and its readiness to meet the fueling needs of international carriers. She emphasized that GUYOIL is proud to play a pivotal role in this new chapter of Guyana’s aviation history.

GUYOIL welcomes KLM Airlines into the Guyanese market. KLM’s entry is anticipated to enhance connectivity between Guyana and Netherlands, through flights operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
