The Barbados Nation is reporting that large quantities of cocaine and cannabis were seized at Carlisle Bay (Browne’s Beach), St Michael by the Drug Squad in an early morning operation yesterday.
According to the report carried today in Barbados Nation, Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police and Public Relations Officer David Welch said cocaine weighing 12
2.9 kilogrammes and valued in the region of $6 million and cannabis weighing 9 4 kilogrammes valued in the region of Bds$375, 000 were seized along with a boat.
Welch said two males, a Barbadian and a Guyanese, were assisting police with the matter.
