The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) hereby notifies the general public that it has resumed operations at the Soesdyke Registration Sub-Office, located at the Te Huist Te Coverden NDC Compound, effective Wednesday, 24 June 2026.
The office had been temporarily relocated to the Diamond Registration Office in December 2025 to facilitate repairs to the building. With those repairs now completed, eligible persons within the Garden of Eden to Timehri and Moblissa catchment area are encouraged to visit the Soesdyke Registration Office to conduct their registration transactions, especially during the upcoming registration exercise scheduled to begin on 1 July 2026.
GECOM expresses its sincere appreciation to the public, especially those affected by the temporary relocation of the office, for their patience, understanding, and cooperation. GECOM looks forward to continuing to serve the public with professionalism and excellence.
