[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – year – old Deon Richards of Tucville Squatting and his wife were arrested on Thursday night (August 06) following a raid, which was conducted in their house.
Police confirmed that they were able to recover an unlicensed .25 pistol with 6 rounds and a quantity of marijuana. iNews was reliably informed that Richards is presently employed with the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) as a Lance Corporal and is based at Camp Ayangana.
His wife, Lisolettela Lacurse is a shop keeper and is said to be 25 – years – old. Police found the weapon in a room in the house, stashed in a bag and placed on a piece of furniture.
