The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) confirms that one of its officers, Captain Dwight Bonus, was involved in a single engine aircraft accident in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Captain Bonus was on personal vacation at the time of the incident. He has since been medically evacuated and is currently receiving treatment overseas. His condition is reported to be stable.
The GDF is in contact with the relevant authorities and continues to monitor the situation closely. Our thoughts are with Captain Bonus and his family during this time, and we extend our support for his full recovery. (Press Release)
