Friendship accident: Other victims identified as aunt and nephew

The driver of the private motorcar involved in the accident at Friendship East Bank Demerara has been identified as Leon Tucker.

Tucker, 33, was attached to the Guyana Defence Force, Camp Stephenson, Timehri, East Bank Demerara. He was the driver of the private motorcar involved in the accident which claimed the lives of five persons so far.

Tucker was transporting his aunt, Lovern Stoby, 61 as well as a husband and wife, Herbert and Denise Josiah, all of whom have died.

The other vehicle, a police car, was driven by presidential guard Ronel Barker who also lost his life.
