Ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri today intercepted a package containing 2 kilograms 700 grams of cocaine which was being shipped to France via a courier service.
The Guyana Police Force, in a statement, said the package was intercepted at around 13:30 hrs today.
Investigations are in progress.
