Former Vice President [VP] of Guyana under the Forbes Burnham regime, Shiv Sahoye Narine passed away this morning, Tuesday July 30 in Canada.
Mr. Narine was also the Minister of Works, Housing and Communication and Guyana’s High Commissioner to India during his tenure under the People’s National Congress.
iNews confirmed that the 89 – year – old man died of natural causes in his Canada home.
He leaves to mourn six children.
