[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating a hit and run fatal accident which occurred at about 05:50hrs today (Monday May 26) on the Railway Embankment in the vicinity of Bel Air, Georgetown.
Dead is 31 – year – old Fizul Hussain of Success, East Coast Demerara.
According to police, investigations have so far revealed that Hussain was fishing along the Embankment when he was struck down by a motor vehicle that was driven away from the scene.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital
