[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Farmer from the North West District, accused of the capital offence of murder, was on Tuesday placed on remand after he made his first Court appearance before City Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer to the offence.
It is alleged that 45 year-old Edward Simon of Tin Cup Backdam on May 25 murdered Ryan Williams.
Edward Simon was allowed to plead to the indictable charge.
The details of the charge was not read in Court.
However, he is schedule to make his next court appearance on November 3 at the Mathew’s Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
