[www.inewsguyana.com] – A farmer of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown was placed on $15,000 bail for allegedly stealing a tub and a pedal cycle. Dexter Grant pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that between November 5 and 6 at North Road, Georgetown, he stole from Nikita Williams a tub and a pedal cycle valued in total at $21,300.

Police prosecutor Bharat Mangru did not object and bail was granted in the sum of $25,000. However, Grant told the magistrate that he had only $15,000 at home and his bail was thereby reduced to that amount. Dexter Grant will return to court on November 19.
