[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred at about 20:05hrs last night (Wednesday, March 26), on the main road at Greenwich Park, East Bank Essequibo.
The incident resulted in the death of 57 – year – old pedestrian Mohan Lall of Greenwich Park.
According to police, investigations have revealed that Lall is alleged to have attempted to cross the roadway and was struck down by a mini-bus.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
