[www.inewsguyana.com] – Seventy – two – year old Rudolph Ramsammy of Adventure, Soesdyke/Linden Highway was pronounced dead on arrival at the Linden Hospital complex after he was struck down by a motor car.
According to a police report, at about 16:00 hrs on Saturday, August 15 Ramsammy attempted to cross the roadway at Adventure when he was hit. The elderly man was rushed to the Linden Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
