[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – three – year old Adrian Osborne and his friend 20 – year – old Colin John were both pronounced dead on arrival at the Suddie Hospital after they were struck down by an alleged drunk driver.
According to the police, at about 3:00 hrs on Sunday February 01, both men of Henrietta, Essequibo Coast were walking along the roadway at Richmond when they were struck down. The driver of the vehicle sped away from the scene.
A police report noted that he was later arrested at his home and was found to be above the legal limit in terms of the consumption of alcohol. He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
