Ranks of the Guyana Police Force and the Prison Service earlier today conducted a search of the Lusignan Prison and the following items were found:
1. Eighteen (18) cellular phones
2. A sim card
3. Ten (10) phone chargers
4. Eleven (11) earpieces
5. Two (2) phone batteries
6. Three (3) phone cases
7. Twelve (12) charger heads
8. A mirror
9. A quantity of wires
10. Two pairs of scissors
11. A quantity of construction nails
12. A tweezer
13. Six (6) improvised weapons
14. A quantity of dried cannabis
15. Sixteen (16) lighters
