Secretary General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Mr Akbar Khan, today paid a courtesy call on Opposition Leader, Dr Bharrat Jagdeo at his office.
The CPA is an Associated Organisation of the Commonwealth which links members of national, state, provincial and territorial parliaments and legislatures across the Commonwealth.
The Guyanese Secretary General was appointed in October last year after he was recommended to the 61st General Assembly by the Association’s International Executive Committee which is made up of representatives of the nine regions of the CPA.
