Guyana has recorded 19 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total positives recorded to date to 63,439.
There are no persons in the ICU but one lone patient is hospitalised with the virus.
A total of 96 persons are isolating at home, 19 are in institutional isolation while 62,114 persons have recovered.
The death toll stands at 1,228.
