[www.inewsguyana.com] – Chief Magistrate, Priya Sewnarine – Beharry has discharged the murder charge against former beauty queen, Carol Ann Lynch on Monday, May 12.
Lynch was accused of murdering her husband, Farouk Razack on May 7, 2007 at their Bel Air, Georgetown home.
The Magistrate told the Court that the prosecution failed to establish a case against Lynch and that there was not enough evidence against her.
In 2007, Lynch was charged for the said offence and the matter was later discharged by Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
