Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the murder of 62-year-old Tameshwarie Sonilal of lot 2 Goed Hope, Canal No.1 Polder, West Bank Demerara home.
According to a Police statement, the woman was found stabbed to death on Sunday night at her home.
The suspect is known only as “Gepper” and efforts are being made to have him apprehended and brought to justice.
The victim’s body is at Ezekiel’s Funeral Home awaiting an autopsy.
