Newly elected Leader of the Alliance For Change (AFC) party, Khemraj Ramjattan, today won a motion to be selected as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the upcoming General and Regional Elections.
The motion was passed at the party’s National Conference.
According to sources, Ramjattan has displaced incumbent Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo by a landslide.
