Two Prison Officers were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital with gunshot wounds after an inmate at the Camp Street Prison got possession of a firearm. It is unclear what transpired at the penitentiary. However, there are reports of gunshots being fired from within the prison towards members of the public gathered outside on the streets.
In addition, a fire has also broken out at the jail house in the city.
