President Dr Irfaan Ali has announced moments ago that this year’s General and Regional Elections will be held on September 1, 2025.
He was at the time addressing the 59th Independence Flag Raising ceremony.
According to the President, he will soon issue the proclamation for the dissolution of Parliament.
