The body of an unidentified female was found in a canal at the Zeelugt village, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) on Thursday evening around 20:30hrs.
According to the police, the deceased is of mixed ethnicity, fair in complexion, an average of 5’3” in height and appears to be in the mid-thirties.
Investigations have been launched into the circumstances surrounding the death of the woman as well as determining her identity.
Presently the body is at the Ezekiel Funeral Home.
