The lifeless body of 16-year-old Justin Smith of Number 47 Village, Corentyne Berbice was discovered along the main access road on Sunday evening.
While, it is suspected that he had crashed his motorcycle, his mother believes that her son was attacked and beaten by three young men from the same village.
Making reference to the three wounds to his body, the mother told Inews that there was a hole at the back of her son’s head which she believes was caused when he was lashed off of the motorcycle he was riding.

“He had chop on his hand like when he go to bar and then at big chop in his back… it is not an accident if you look at the motorbike you would see how then lash up the motorbike,” the businesswoman said in describing the condition her son was picked up in.
When Inews visited the scene on Monday, traffic ranks as well as officers from the Criminal Investigation Department were conducting their investigations.
Meanwhile, the now-dead teenager’s mother told this publication that her son had an ongoing feud with some of his former schoolmates. She said some of the matters got the attention of the courts.
According to Seenauth, about one week prior to her son’s demise, there was an altercation and her son threatened to retaliate. Police are yet to issue a statement on the incident.
